About Terry

Terry was elected to the Lakeville Area Public Schools Board of Education in 2012. He currently serves as Vice Chair and is a member of the following committees: Special Education Advisory Council, Long Term Facilities Task Force, District Personnel Committee, Gifted Advisory Council, and District Shared Leadership Team.

Terry has been involved in education for more than forty years and has served as a junior high school teacher, an elementary school media generalist, and, for 18 years, as an elementary school principal at both JFK Elementary School and at Lakeview Elementary School.

Terry and his wife, Glenda, have two adult children who attended the Lakeville Area Public Schools and currently have three grandsons in school — a kindergartner at Lakeview Elementary, a 6th grader at McGuire Middle School, and a senior at Lakeville South High School.

His educational training includes a Bachelors of Science Degree in History and English from Minnesota State University – Mankato, a Masters Degree in Education Administration from Minnesota State University – Winona, a Masters Degree in Educational Media/Technology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a Six-year Certificate in Education Administration from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
